Monitoring and Evaluation of 2015 Devrek Zonguldak Landslide within the scope of Flood Risk Assessment by Landsat-8 Satellite Data

The mass movement towards stream beds and their accumulation there may cause flood events as a result of landslide events. In this study, Devrek Landslide, which occurred in 2015, was investigated by using remote sensing technique. Çomaklar is located at the lower elevations region. surrounding settlements are risk flooding due to probability preventing water flow because effects landslide. district Zonguldak northern part Turkey. LANDSAT-8 satellite images between dates 27 January 2015 22 July were used investigate location size Satellite-derived data have been widely recent years monitor changes on earth's surface provide information. Spectral Angle Difference method compare before after event. A change detection analysis conducted pre-landslide post-landslide area affected disaster. As result, determined 1050 meters length 110 width, calculated 10.87 ha.
